General Warranty Terms
Kannoa’s warranty is valid from the date of purchase and applies only to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase (original invoice including purchase date) is required. Photographs and/or inspections may be required. Kannoa will cover freight costs for the first year within the continental United States. Parts and labor are included during this period. Additional details and exclusions may apply. Please note that all products are exposed to the elements; proper care and maintenance are required to maintain warranty coverage.
Warranty Coverage
Aluminum Frames
Fifteen (15) Years (Residential) – Five (5) Years (Commercial)
If the extruded aluminum frame fails structurally (i.e., broken frame or welds) within fifteen (15) years – five (5) years in a commercial setting – from the date of purchase, we will, at factory option, replace, repair, or refinish the frame in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar style if color has been discontinued. Stamped aluminum tabletops carry the same warranty as extruded aluminum frames. (Some exclusions may apply)
Teak Furniture Frames
Fifteen (15) Years (Residential) – Five (5) Years (Commercial)
If the teak furniture fails structurally (i.e., broken frame) within fifteen (15) years – five (5) years in a commercial setting – from the date of purchase, we will, at factory option, replace or repair the product in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued. Warranty does not apply to checking (cracks) in wood; chipping, color change and mildew may appear when wood is exposed to the elements and is considered entirely natural. (Some exclusions may apply)
Steel Frames
Fifteen (15) Years (Residential) – Five (5) Years (Commercial)
If the stainless steel furniture frame fails structurally (i.e., broken frame or welds) within fifteen (15) years residential – five (5) years in a commercial setting – from the date of purchase, we will, at factory option, replace, repair or refinish the frame in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar style if color has been discontinued. No warranty within 1 mile from coastline. (Some exclusions may apply)
Finishes
Three (3) Years (Residential) – Two (2) Years (Commercial)
If the finish peels or blisters within three (3) years residential – two (2) years in a commercial setting – from the date of purchase, we will, at factory option, replace, repair or refinish the frame in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar style if color has been discontinued. No warranty within 1 mile from coastline for steel products. (Some exclusions may apply)
Woven Resins
Three (3) Years (Residential & Commercial)
If the woven resin weave unravels or fades excessively within three (3) years residential – three (3) years in a commercial setting – from the date of purchase, we will, at factory option, replace, repair or refinish the product in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar style if color has been discontinued. Color fastness is only covered for two (2) years. (Some exclusions may apply)
Ropes
Three (3) Years (Residential & Commercial)
If the Rope weave unravels or fades excessively within five (3) years residential or commercial setting – from the date of purchase, we will, at factory option, replace, repair or refinish the product in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar style if color has been discontinued. Color fastness is only covered for two (2) years. (Some exclusions may apply)
Vinyl Straps & PVC
Two (2) Years (Residential & Commercial)
If the Vinyl Strap & PVC unravels or fades excessively within five (2) years residential or in a commercial setting – from the date of purchase, we will, at factory option, replace, repair or refinish the product in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar style if color has been discontinued. (Some exclusions may apply)
HPL, Composites & Stone Tops
Three (3) Years (Residential) – Two (2) Years (Commercial)
If a tabletop fails structurally within three (3) years – two (2) years in a commercial setting – from the date of purchase. This warranty is void if the products are structurally altered or subjected to stress beyond the physical limits of the materials used in body or components, or is damaged as a result of abusive use. We will, at factory option, repair or replace the table top, in the original color and style if available, or in a similar color and style if original has been discontinued. Some composites may fade when exposed to direct sunlight. This fading is excluded from the warranty. See other exclusions under the Exclusions section. (Some exclusions may apply)
Alumiwood
Three (3) Years (Residential) – Two (2) Years (Commercial)

Plastic Injection & Rotomolding
Two (2) Years (Residential) – One (1) Year (Commercial)
Our Rotomolding and Injection Plastic products are made to last and are backed by a two (2) year residential – one (1) year in a commercial setting – warranty against defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is void if the products are structurally altered or subjected to stress beyond the physical limits of the materials used in body or components, or is damaged as a result of abusive use. Normal wear and tear is not warrantied. This warranty does not include any manufacturer responsibility for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of the products. This warranty does not cover discoloration and/or tingling of colors, texture changes in materials, scratches due to improper use of such products. This warranty applies only to the original owner. (Some exclusions may apply)
Fire Tables
Two (2) Years (Residential & Commercial)
Our Fire Tables are manufactured by a third party and we offer a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturer defects. The manufacturer will repair or replace product which has been proven to be defective in workmanship and/or material. Manufacturer will not be responsible for any defects resulting from misuse, user error, installation error, abuse, repair or alteration. The use of wood or fuels other than those specified for use with this unit by the manufacturer will void warranty immediately. (Some exclusions may apply) NOTE: The manufacturer and Kannoa are not responsible for any injury or mishap related to misuse, abuse, or lack of judgment in choosing fire display locations.
Fabric on Cushions
Three (3) Years (Residential & Commercial)
If the fabric on a cushion tears or fades excessively within three (3) years – from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace the fabric in the original color and pattern if available or in a similar color and pattern if the original has been discontinued. Cushion foam has a three (3) year warranty. Mildew in most cases is a result of lack of care and maintenance and is not covered under warranty. (Some exclusions may apply)
Slings
Three (3) Years (Residential) – Two (2) Years (Commercial)
If the sling tears or fades excessively within three (3) years – two (2) years in a commercial setting – from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace the sling in the original color and pattern if available or in a similar color and pattern if the original has been discontinued. Variations in sling construction result in variations in sag and sag recovery. Such variations in sag and sag recovery are specifically excluded from this warranty. The warranty for excessive sling sag is one (1) year. (Some exclusions may apply)
Umbrellas & Bases
Fifteen (15) Years (Residential) – Five (5) Years (Commercial)
Our Umbrellas are manufactured by a third party – If an umbrella or umbrella base fails structurally within fifteen (15) years residential – five (5) years in a commercial setting – from the date of purchase, we will at factory option, repair or replace the umbrella or umbrella base, in the original color or style, if available, or in a similar style if the color has been discontinued. Kannoa does not recommend the use of any collapsible shade structure in sustain winds over 30 MPH. Umbrellas should be closed or secured during these conditions. Kannoa will only warranty products that are properly secured to an adequate base or anchoring point. Kannoa will not warranty product damaged from contact with the ground or objects which occurred as a result of sudden and severe weather events or any other act of nature. The manufacturer and Kannoa are not responsible for any injury or mishap related to misuse, abuse, or lack of judgment in choosing fire display locations. (Some exclusions may apply)
Cabanas
Aluminum Frame – Ten (10) Years (Residential) – Three (3) Years (Commercial)
Roof Material – Five (5) Years (Residential) – Three (3) Years (Commercial)

Kannoa does not recommend the use of any collapsible shade structure in sustain winds over 40 MPH. Roofs should be closed or secured during these conditions. Kannoa will only warranty products that are assembled, and properly secured to an adequate base or anchoring point. Kannoa will not warranty product damaged from contact with the ground or objects which occurred as a result of sudden and severe weather events or any other act of nature. We recommend Professional contractor for installation of any Cabana. Kannoa will not be responsible to any failure due to inadequate installation.
All Moving Parts & Components
One (1) Year (Residential & Commercial)
If a component part (glides, bolts, screws, wheels, hydraulics etc.) fails due to manufacturing defect within one (1) years – from the date of purchase, we will at factory option, repair or replace the part, in the original color and style if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued. (Some exclusions may apply)
What Is Not Covered Under Warranty?
- Failure caused by unreasonable, unanticipated, or abusive use
- Failure caused by a lack of reasonable and necessary care and maintenance
- Normal fading of fabrics, upholstery or woven materials
- Flattening or compression of cushions and pads
- Glass tabletops
- Acrylic tabletops
- All moving parts and components (glides, bolts, screws, wheels, hydraulics, etc.)
- Bursting or cracking of tubing due to exposure to water and freezing temperatures
- Return freight after first year
- Minor variations in color and texture of finishes
- Finish failure from indoor pool or seaside use caused by neglecting to provide reasonable and necessary care & maintenance
- Damage caused by acts of nature
- Wind damage
- Steel furniture used seaside, on cruise ships, or in-pool
- Cushion foam compression after one (1) year (Commercial)
- Sling sagging after one (1) year (Commercial)
- Color fastness on all materials after two (2) years (Commercial)
- Crank umbrellas in commercial applications
- Natural stone tabletops have several coverage exclusions
Limited Warranty
This warranty is a limited warranty and applies to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase is required. Photographs may be required in certain instances. Warranty coverage begins on the date of purchase. In some cases, there will be a pro-rated charge for the time the product was in use. Freight charges are not covered under warranty.
Other Exclusions
Failure caused by unreasonable or abusive use, fire, freight damage, acts of nature (such as, but not limited to, freezing or high winds), extreme climate conditions, suntan oil or other chemicals, normal fading, scratching, or chipping of the finish, fading, weathering or staining or discoloration of furniture, accidental damage repair or modifications by consumer, glass breakage; normal wear and tear are excluded from the warranty.
Seaside, Cruise Ship and In Pool Use: Due to the concentrations of salt air, salt water spray and Clorine and other chemicals associated with seaside and cruise ship use and concentrations of humidity & chemicals with in pool use, Kannoa recommends weekly or biweekly periodic cleaning of surface buildup to reduce the likelihood of blistering, chipping of paint and oxidation of frames. Kannoa also recommends quarterly waxing of your Kannoa frames to assist in your product’s maximum longevity. Failure or neglect to perform required care may likely result in surface buildup of a white chalky substance which may cause the paint to blister, chip and frame to oxidize. Such failure or neglect will void the Warranty.
Maintenance & Security
Our production are made using only materials of high quality to guarantee a long useful life of the products. In order to provide a durable and safe use to the product, please follow the following recommendations:
- All of our products are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
- Continuous exposure to the sun (especially for darker colors) may cause surfaces to become hot and could result in burns from direct contact with the skin. To avoid this, please check the temperature of the furniture after prolonged exposure to strong sunlight.
- Place items on a flat, level surface to avoid uncontrolled movement.
- Keep products away from excessive heat sources.
- The product is not a toy. To avoid accidents, do not allow children to play on or with it.
- Never use abrasive or corrosive cleaning products.
- To help preserve the product, the use of a protective cover for each item is recommended.
- Winter storage: All furniture should be stored in an upright position to allow for proper water drainage. Storing furniture upside down may cause water to accumulate and freeze inside the frame, resulting in serious structural damage that is not covered under warranty.
- The use of furniture covers is highly recommended and encouraged.
Return of Furniture
If it becomes necessary to return furniture, the original purchaser must provide proof of purchase when making a claim. Photographs may be required in certain instances. Prior written authorization from the factory is required to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. This RA number must be attached to each piece of furniture returned to the factory. For additional information or service, contact your KANNOA dealer. Fire Pit hardware for one year against manufacture’s defects. Hardware includes burner, burner tray, burner cover, grill grate, blow out box, gas valve, switches, hoses, lines & wires, regulator, valves, spark igniter, fittings, fire media. The warranty specifically excludes the battery. Kannoa will pay freight cost for the first year in the continental US parts and labor included.
