ALL-WEATHER WICKER

Our wicker is a premium synthetic weaving material suitable for all kinds of applications including outdoor and indoor furniture as well as garden and home accessories. It is naturally water-resistant, so it will not develop mold or mildew.
Our wicker furniture requires only a minimal amount of maintenance. It is easily cleaned with a garden hose. Occasionally it can be wiped down with a damp cloth and mild dishwashing soap if it gets excessively dirty.
Our wicker works well in all types of weather and all climates. Other materials that are used for manufacturing outdoor furniture do not hold up in bad weather or in harsh climates. Not only is our all-weather wicker resistant to rain, it can withstand humidity, hail storms, extreme cold, and intense heat. Our wicker furniture is incredibly versatile. It comes in many different styles and colors so it can fit into just about every décor or motif. It is a great addition to any porch, patio, deck or outdoor space.

ALUMINUM

We use only 100% non recycled, powder-coated, aluminum frames that are hand made by metal craftsmen and every joint point is professionally welded. The powder-coated finish, is permanently baked on and enhances the furniture’s scratch resistance. Our aluminum outdoor furniture resists rust and moisture damage better than other metals and is strong yet relatively lightweight, making it easy to rearrange and store. Built to stay beautiful and withstand the elements like rain, wind and heat.

Product Care

General Cleaning:
Clean with water when needed. Dry with a soft cloth. When caring for your piece, keep in mind that it will scratch like any metal. If your product begins to tarnish you can use an aluminum polish. Aggressive alkaline or acid cleaners must never be used. Cleaning hot, sun-heated surfaces should be avoided since possible chemical reactions will be highly accelerated and cleaning non-uniformity could occur

POWDER COATED STEEL

Product Care

General Cleaning:
Products that have been powder coated should be cleaned with a soft brush or cloth, using mild soap and very warm water. Soaps that have emulsifiers that break down common stains and are scum free are the best to use. For more detailed cleans you may use a pressure washer using filtered water under low pressure. Mild detergent may be used, but do not use chlorine or harsh cleaning solutions. It is very important that low pressure be used in pressure cleaning. If the pressure is strong enough to move the metal surface, it may be strong enough to damage the finish as well.

TEAK

Characteristics of teak: The wood from the Tectona grandis tree is commonly known as teak. Although it is native to Southeast Asia, Kannoa sources its teak from Colombia, South America where similar climatic conditions have allowed the species to thrive. Seeds were imported over 60 years ago to Colombia and the trees used for our furniture are all over 25 years old. Like any natural material, each plank of teak has its own color and grain pattern, making each piece of furniture unique.
Teak wood is rich in teak oil, silica and rubber. When it is dried to a proper moisture level (10% of its original moisture content), these components make the wood resistant to the elements and to pests. Our wood is kiln dried to precisely this level.
Sustainable harvesting: The teak forest is grown and harvested under a regulated sustainability program based on the standards of the Colombian Institute of Agriculture (ICA). These standards are the same as those of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) in the United States.
Construction: Kannoa uses mortise and tenon joinery and dowel reinforcements to create tight joints that, at the same time, allow for the slight movement of wood due to natural fluctuations in the humidity of the environment.

Product Care

General Cleaning: Teak wood can retain its oils after being felled and milled. When left alone, the UV exposure will mature the wood to a silvery gray color. The use of cleaning compounds, oils or preservatives is a common practice but will shorten the life of the product. Apply your cleaning mixture to the teak item using a soft plastic brush and scrub into the wood as you apply. Allow the mixture to sit for about 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

PLASTIC INJECTION

Our plastic furniture is virtually maintenance-free, all you have to do is bring it home and set it up the way you like it; you won’t have to spend any more time or money on it in the future. Plastic requires no painting and is rust-free, unlike other materials.

Product Care

General Cleaning:
Rinse with clean water and dry with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleanser that may scratch the plastic. Use a tub/tile/sink cleaner; non-abrasive, all-purpose cleaner; or a paste of baking soda and water. Apply the cleaner to the surface or on a damp sponge and rub gently. The plastic injection moulding process produces large numbers of parts of high quality with great accuracy, very quickly. Plastic material in the form of granules is melted until soft enough to be injected under pressure to fill a mould. The result is that the shape is exactly copied. Kannoa products are UV Resistant, and in this case recyclable.
